Who is the book suitable for?
The book is suitable for students in second grade and up.
In fact, many parents purchase the book early, for a "soft landing" before starting to study the multiplication table in class.
The book is also suitable for graduates who still have difficulty with the multiplication table and are looking for a method that will once and for all show them how to remember the multiplication table.
How does the method work ?
The book consists of 7 chapters of increasing difficulty, with each chapter focusing on a different set of exercises, so that by the end of the book you know the entire multiplication table.
There are various memory techniques in the book, such as associative and visual memory that show the student how to solve each multiplication exercise. The book has a lot of practice that helps to assimilate the different methods and to equip the student with new habits on how to remember the multiplication table.
At the beginning of each chapter there is a self-test in which time is measured and you see how the student is doing. After that the book teaches the memory technique and there is a practice of the technique. At the end of the chapter, a self-test is performed again and compared to the initial test, you can see the student's progress.
The book is accompanied by pictures of Fluffy - our house dog. This is in an effort to incorporate a little humor into learning, for a pleasant atmosphere and increasing the joy of learning.
How come this method works ?
The operation of multiplication is a basic operation that repeats itself during the solution of long mathematical problems.
The method in "Mathmagic" allows the student, through actions that are performed automatically and quickly (such as driving and blind typing for example) to arrive at a solution quickly, without complicated calculations.
A quick solution of the multiplication exercise while doing a complicated mathematical problem maintains the student's train of thought and allows him to concentrate on other elements that are necessary to solve the problem.
How did I write this book ?
As a private teacher, I encountered a wide phenomenon, difficulty in memorizing the multiplication table.
So together with my dear students I created a method.
I put everything in one book.
I added practice pages, a stopwatch game, amusing pictures... and magic was created! What is the magic ?
Solving every exercise (multiplication and division) in less than 10 seconds!!
